I’m so honored to announce that 3 of my 2009 articles have been nominated in the Local Search Category of The SEMMYs. How exciting!
Never heard of the SEMMYs? They were founded by SEM extraordinaire, Matt McGee as a means of recognizing some of the best content being published each year in areas of specialization like Local Search, Social Media, PPC, SEO, etc. Articles are nominated by a private group of individuals. The public is then given a chance to vote on their favorite pieces and a panel of judges completes the process of selecting a final winner in each category.
This is my third year running as a SEMMY nominee and these are my three nominated pieces in 2010:
Edit, Remove and Respond To Reviews – Tools For Conflict Resolution
Google Maps Sows and Reaps Incongruities
The Local New Years Resolution I Wish Eric Schmidt Would Make
Public voting is just around the corner and I’d be delighted if you’d consider my work when you go to the booths! I’m in illustrious company and predict that all of us in the Local category are going to have tough time competing against David Mihm’s latest splendid edition of his Local Search Ranking Factors. Mike Blumenthal’s Local Business Center Categories List also deserves special notice as a major act of public good. All of the pieces nominated are top notch and I am wishing everyone super luck in this year’s SEMMYs. What fun!
