Miriam Interviewed By Nifty Marketing

Local SEO continues to be a somewhat rarefied field, but new folks are trickling in all the time, and the one who has stood out to me most in the past year is Mike Ramsey of Nifty Marketing. Mike specializes in Local SEM and website design. He’s a family man and is working his way towards local hero status via his efforts to develop a hyperlocal news source for Burley, Idaho, GoBurley.com.

I had a good feeling about Mike the first time he left a thoughtful comment here on the SEOigloo Blog, and the more I’ve gotten to know him, the better I like this fellow. I think Mike is one to watch in future for good insights about Local and his experience of living the small town life will be invaluable to clients he takes on in small towns across the U.S.

Right now, Mike is launching a series of interviews with a whole bunch of interesting folks who have been bitten by the Local bug, and I’m proud to say that I am interviewee #1. If you’d like to learn a little more about me and the work I do, Mike’s interview has the lowdown. Keep checking back at Mike’s blog for further great interviews over the next few weeks and get to know more about the men and women who have made Local a major part of their work on the web!

You are too nice. Thanks for the kind words, and for the opportunity to do the interview. I really loved how thoughtful your answers were pertaining to your passion for life + the work you do. You got my wife all jazzed up about our garden we are starting (after we finish our landscaping projects at our home). We are actually going to give square foot gardening a try!

    Hey Mike,
Please wish your wife 2 green thumbs for me! Planting food really has huge rewards. You folks are in great potato country, too! Just think, little new potatoes with parsley. Yum.

Thanks again for interviewing me, Mike. It was a pleasure.
