Neil Diamond’s Musical Plea To Google Maps
Wednesday 22 Jul 2009
Listen to the desperate lyrics, look at Neil’s pained and exhausted expression and I believe you will quickly agree with me that Neil Diamond wrote this pleading anthem about locations after trying to get himself correctly listed in Google Maps in New York instead of LA:
Let’s All Sing With Neil
And I am lost, and I can’t even say why
There are few things worse in life than crying out for help and having no one hear you, at all, not even the chair.
How can Google do this to Neil…or to you, the local business owner? Neil’s pain is your pain, and phone support for Google Maps is the only thing that will make us, and Neil, happy again. We’ve said it all. The ball is in Google’s court now.

And let’s not forget “Nowhere Man”, “Who Are You?” & “Gone Daddy Gone”.
Ha ha, great post Miriam, had a nice laugh over it.
Seems we just gotta keep singin those songs sung blue.
Touche, Andrew!
Like Neil, I’ve never cared for the sound of being alone.
Cheers, Steve! Glad I brightened your Wednesday.
And of course REM’s “Maps & Legends”:
“He’s not to be reached, he’s to be reached
He’s not to be reached, he’s to be reached”
nice one Miriam. Man, Neil Diamond looks young in that video. LOL.
Thanks, Dave! Hope it gave you a smile.
Hilarious! Thanks for sharing the Google listing pain in a bright and cheerful manner. Loved it!
