We got good with Photoshop just by using it over and over again during the years, but if you could find a good class, maybe that could speed up the rate of learning. There are also Photoshop tutorials online that are free and take you step by step through creating different effects. It's been interesting to me to watch the changes in Photoshopping styles that have taken place over the years (going from everything having huge dark dropshadows to the flat glossy look that became popular last year). I don't think one style fits all and like to make each design unique, but starting with good quality photos is certainly a huge help, whatever style or type of business one is working with. Good cameras are getting less expensive. I hope to be able to afford one one day as I have an idea for a photo-oriented website that I think could be good.
