I agree, this is very big news for all of us in Local and for all local businesses. I think it&#039;s really important now to pay attention to the sources from which Google is pulling some of the elements like photos as these are being given such prominence in the layout. I&#039;ve seen some Google Place Pages over the last few days with very poor photos. Something to be aware of.

		<description>I think places will really bring in a lot more businesses to the LBC for google, and also give a solid place to drive adwords traffic to. A lot of these services through google will start to merge closer and closer. Places design allows for some major A/B testing and works very well as a landing page in my mind.

It will be interesting to see how the LBC reporting changes so as to give businesses data on how people are using the places page. Exciting times for local for sure.</description>
