Flower Seeds and Vegetable Seeds Abound

Our client, 2B Seeds, is a seed and gardening site with something unique to offer!

2 B Seeds Our company was very excited when we were approached by the owners of 2B Seeds. Not only were Mr. & Mrs. Busch such nice people, but one look at their inventory of seeds told us that these folks had something really special to offer to the gardening industry.

The Buschs come from a long, long line of professional gardeners and can trace their history back through 4 generations of growers in the Golden Valley region of MN where the family pioneered the hothouse tomato...those off-season treats that make the winter a more palatable season for all of us. In modern times, the Busch family located in Colorado and through their green house business, shipped some 4 Million Geranium cuttings per year. They also sold tens of thousands of poinsettia cuttings for the Christmas season and grew vegetables and bedding plants for the local retail garden trade in Colorado and surrounding states. A wonderful claim to fame for the Buschs was that their provision of 40,000 geraniums for the landscaping of Great Resort of The Coeur D' Alene in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho.

But Mr. & Mrs. Busch are folks who look to the future and they decided to turn their efforts toward the flower and vegetable seed market. It may be that you've seen their seed racks from 2B Seeds at your local nursery or gardening center. What sets them apart is their tradmarked Sow'n'Seal packaging. These resealable foil packets protect the seeds from moisture and dryness and keep them fresh so that when a gardener plants them, the rate of germination is significantly higher. Furthermore, if you're new to gardening and puzzled about sowing seeds, Mr. Busch runs a section on his website called 'Ask the Gardener'. Send him a question and he will write back to you with valuable, professional gardening advice on how to get the most pleasure from your garden.

You'll find hundreds of seeds to choose from at 2B Seeds. Check out their Annual Flower Seeds when you want to add a quick splash of bright color to your garden. Annuals only bloom for one year and are loved for their profusion and simple charm. Perennial Flower Seeds yield everything from delicate blue flax, to robust lavender, to towering larkspur for your garden. In terms of vegetable seeds, 2B Seeds is sure to please with their wide selection of AAS winners which are sure to bring you some of the tastiest tomatoes, squash, peppers and cucumbers you've ever eaten. 2B Seeds also offers herb seeds and seed collections which make for fun gift giving!

With a seed inventory of this grand size, the obvious goal of building a website for 2B Seeds was to organize all they offer into a manner that will make shopping pleasantest and easiest for their customers. By dividing up their seeds into understandable categories, visitors wanting to browse all kinds of annual flower seeds can visit just that section of the website to dream and plan next season's garden. This applies to all the main categories of their website. Adding a search function also makes it a snap for a gardener looking for something specific, like Blue Shrimp Plant seeds to zip right to that page. A thorough navigation menu on each page of the site lets customers know that they can plant a whole garden just by visiting this company, and that they can also sign up for their information-packed Gardening Newletter. The Buschs spend hours putting together this seasonal newsletter and it is simply blooming with advice and tips on growing the prettiest and richest garden you can. Plans for the future of 2B Seeds include adding a section just for kids. What could be better than sharing your love of gardening with the youngsters in your life?

As web design clients, the Buschs have been ideal. They are so knowledgeable about their field and they know just what they want, and how they want to present their company, but they are also open to ideas from us, which is great. We are proud to be working with 2B Seeds and look forward to continuing our association with them in the future.
